POST 5: THE STORY BEHIND A PHOTOGRAPH

This photo was taken by a photographer working for World Patagonia. This is a rafting agency in Futaleufú, Región de los Lagos. The journey to get there is a long one, but it is beautiful.  This photo shows a day of rafting on the Futalefu River, ranked as one of the best rivers for rafting. I went with my friends and my boyfriend in the summer of 2020, in February.

I love it because it reminds me of an incredible experience in my life, one of the most extreme and beautiful.  The landscape was fascinating, surrounded by many trees and high mountains. Also, the flow of the river was astounding,  I had the opportunity to swim and jump off a rock. I would definitely do it again! So, I recommend you to live this experience. And that you can visit the surroundings of this town. You could go to the Futaleufú National Reserve and Piedra del Aguila. You won't regret it !
